Paul & Melinda Krutak, The Ghan Expedition, Darwin to Adelaide, Travelled on 3 Jun 2026

The best part of the trip were the off-train experiences, in particular the Ultimate Uluru one. The plane pilot and his narrator did a wonderful job, with the narrator explaining various features of the areas over which we flew, including the flyby of Uluru and The Olgas. Once we landed and got in a van, the driver (originally from France) turned out to be a font of knowledge about the monolith. He was a non-stop story teller, explaining the origin of many facets related to the "rock." The Nitmuluk Gorge boat ride and Coober Peedy narrators were also very knowledgeable and made the excursions very educational. We also very much enjoyed meeting many wonderful people on the trip - we met only Australians and New Zealanders, as it appeared we were the only Americans on the train in our class (Gold Premium). Finally, we were impressed when the train crew did not let us pay for some commemorative items we chose from the lounge car when they learned our trip was to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. Wow!
Sarah Moore of Inside Australia Travel did a fabulous job of helping me plan and execute our trip, especially considering we are from the US and have never made such a trip. She explained things clearly and was very helpful in making sure I knew all the steps I needed to execute to ensure a smooth trip, including tips on getting our Australian ETA set up in time and related topics.

Heinz Hofer & Zsofia Schmukle, A Bucket List Trip Down Under, Travelled on 20 May 2026

The clients had a fantastic time & loved every second of it, especially the well-planned itinerary including all the transfers, etc. The travel with The Ghan & the Indian Pacific with all the included (and optional) tours have been some of the many highlights. They felt safe, carefree & looked after, and could enjoy their trip to the fullest.
Thank you, Kayla.

Our trip to Uluru was amazing! The itinerary was perfect for the 4 days and 3 nights we had. Everything was so well organised that all we had to do was turn up and enjoy ourselves. The transport, accommodation and the experiences were all first class. The support and communication before, during and after was wonderful and greatly appreciated.
Special thanks to Chris Page for making everything so easy for us :)

Everything was very well organized. Our guide was very knowledgeable and was always happy to answer our questions. I enjoyed sleeping in the outback and I saw lots of points of interest which I wouldn't be able to experience. I am totally happy with the tour.
I would be happy to take part in another tour with the company.

1. We absolutely LOVED our guide for the food tour. He was so fun, funny and informative. It was so fun to be with him for a few hours. I would have loved if he had taken us to the food market and sampled food, instead we had sort of an American feast at the brewery. But the honey store and hot chocolate place was unbelievable. 2. Franz Joseph was one of my personal favorites. It was So quiet and beautiful. We were the ONLY people on the lake. This was also one of our favorite accommodations- It was so peaceful and nice to be in the trees and have some room to spread out. 3. The train was pretty unforgettable because we don’t anything like it in the states. The food was amazing and it was such a wonderful way to see the change in topography. 4. We loved Wanaka, but could tell they were accustomed to a lot of tourists. We were sad to miss Cardrona, but loved Las Palomas and Franchescas- really good food. WE also LOVED Olivia from Holistic Home- she did our pilates. The hike was also a very pretty way to see the town. 5. The Remarkables were REMARKABLE! I hope the girls get more snow. The two highlights were the wine tour - funniest and best guide. He was GREAT. The wine was so good. And the Rosewood Makatori- it was a slice of heaven. View, food, spa, and staff were pretty unbelievable.

Dr. Madhabi Chatterji, Escape to Australia: Cities, Coast & Reef, Travelled on 17 Jun 2026

The two tours in Cairns were the very best—the Great Barrier Reef and the Kuranda rain forest—and the stay at the Crystalbrook Riley was unmatched in comfort and luxury!
I highly recommend Meg Griffin and her team for organizing Australian Tours that are customized (as well as possible) to meet client needs. Despite there being a few little bumps along the way, all of these were addressed promptly and appropriately. Thank you all!

Helen & Alex Traill, Your Ayers Rock Explorer Trip!, Travelled on 15 Jun 2026

We thoroughly enjoyed this trip. All the events on the itinerary were wonderful and we were treated so well, especially Alex who is handicapped, we were given a special vehicle with a drop down lift so he could ride his scooter onto it, it then lifted up and he then rode into the van. This van was included in all our excursions. We found the Ayres Rock Resort to be fairly tired with worn carpets but the room was very big and comfortable.
Thank you for organising this wonderful trip. We are thrilled with everything that you organised for us. It couldn't have been more enjoyable. We have been home a few days now and are still smiling.

Martin and Dalice Dalton, The Dalton's Trip Broome to Perth with Outback Spirit - Pilbara & West Coast Expedition, Travelled on 27 May 2026

It was certainly a good idea of Anna's to spend a few days in Broome before the Outback Spirit Tour started. It gave us a chance to settle into holiday mode before having to get on the Bus Tour. The Cable Beach Ocean Resort was the best Accommodation by Far and the activities planned were super. Thanks Anna...
Anna's knowledge of the area was just so handy in building a great holiday in an area of Australia that I have wanted to see for a long time. I strongly recommend using Anna for your holiday planning... Very professional, friendly, and keen to make sure we had a memorable holiday

Mohd Rosle Ahmad and Ritawillis Selamat, Mohd and Ritawillis Tassie Journey, Travelled on 7 Jun 2026

Freycinet/Wineglass Bay tour. Ben made all the difference - genuinely affable, naturally humorous, professorial yet very relatable. Made many stops during the climb to let us ascend at our own pace without feeling rushed/stress to catch up.
Much thanks again to Manon for assisting with the itineraries within budget and made Tassie travels easy and enjoyable!

Roger Mayberry, The Ghan Expedition (Gold Single Cabin) + Adelaide, Travelled on 12 May 2026

Darwin and Adelaide stopovers were enjoyable but the best was hotel Alba in Adelaide. Except for an accidental fall at Coober Pedy the Ghan trip was exceptional as was he Murray Princess part of my trip.
I would to like to pass on my thanks to Mannon who was most helpful during to some confusion over transfers.(hope I have the name spelt right).I will keep you in mind for any future getaways.

This trip to Uluru was a surprise for my partner. It was on her “bucket list”. She had no idea about the trip and was super thrilled that I had organised the whole experience.

Fiona Fordyce & Elizabeth Speed, The Ghan Expedition, Darwin to Adelaide, Travelled on 23 May 2026

It’s really difficult to narrow down to what was the best thing. I really had no idea what to expect. Butt was hoping it would be amazing. The service was flawless. The staff were gorgeous. Everything was planned to a tea. It was smooth and they won’t beyond they kept the details quite high-level of what would happen that day but everything the lunch the trips they took us on but I think coming back to the carriage on the last day after Cooper Petty and there was a bonfire outdoor drinks, blue sky the red soil and the train and where the middle of nowhere it was incredible really incredible!
Thank you for making it so easy for what are the most amazing trips I’ve ever done and probably ever will

Enjoyed all of the trip, the wine tasting in the Barossa valley plus the evening entertainment was excellent. The tour around Broken Hill and the Blue mountains were also excellent.

Paul and Vicki Soutter, Exploring the Natural Wonders of NZ - Majestic Fiords & Geothermal Wonders, Travelled on 8 May 2026

We loved the whole trip, if I have to pick one thing it was Volcanic Air picking us up from our Hotel (On the Point) like a taxi. Plus the amazing trip that followed.
